Dec 12, 1901 was the birthday of Edna Irene Walker. She was born to Willard and Mattie Rogers in Wayne County. She married Mel Walker, a World War I vet and farmer. They had five children. Edna died on Dec 10, 2001 - just a day and a half before her 100th birthday. She is buried near her parnet s at the Brown Cemetery. This picture was taken the summer of 1976 at the home of Clara Mathes.
