These are Hargrove School kids, Aug, 1897.It took awhile, but I was able to use the computer top read the sign. the teacher's name is either McGriffin or perhaps Mr. Griffin. Merritt Bunnell (1887 - 1900) was easy to spot because of his very light blond hair. His sister Gracie (1888 - 1967) is standing to his right. I am wondering if the littlegirl next to Gracie would be Iva, who would have been seven and a half at the time of this picture. Elver Bunnell is probably in the picture and am wondering if he to Merrit's right. He was born in 1890 and would be between Iva and Gracie in age. Justin (b.1894)would not have been in school yet.
