I have had a lot of luck with family history research on Ancestry.com. You'd be surprised how many people are also researchnig your ancestors I am getting ready to renew my membership. It is a great place to view census records online, too. These are invaluable research tools. When I was a teen, I would ride my bike to the Mormon Genealogy library in Mesa, AZ. from our home in Scottsdale jsut to look at census records. That was over an hour's ride. It's nice to be able today to access all those records online.
