This first photograph is of Granddad Smith in about 1928 or 29. In the second, taken on the same occasion, we see (l-r) Robert Smith, Isaac, Hallie Hoover and Rollie Smith. Hallie (1911 - 2003) was a girl that Fred and Gracie took in to their care.
